Please join us on Friday, June 12, for the 29th annual St. Greg’s Great Race! The Great Race is a Buffalo Runner of the Year Race. This fundraising event brings hundreds of parishioners together every June. The 5K-race/walk and social event is open to the parishioners of St. Greg’s, past parishioners of St. Pius X, our Family of Good Shepherd, the running community, and the community at large. An open-air party with great music, food and fun on the parish grounds follows the race. Race attendance has grown to over 1,200 participants; several hundred more attend the party each year.
Race Day Schedule:
Kids 1K – 6:00 PM
5K Race – 7:00 PM
1 Mile Fun Walk to follow 5k Runners
Post-Race Party – 7:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Post-Race Activities:
Enjoy live music from the Hit n’ Run Band, refuel and relax at our concession and beer tents, and bring the kids for the petting zoo, jugglers, climbing wall, and inflatables.

Additional wristbands for beer and wine can be purchased for $30 each on the night of the race at the Admissions tent. Please note that you must be 21 years of age or older and ID is required in order to receive your wristband.
*Register online by June 1, 2026 to GUARANTEE your official Great Race shirt! A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis on race day until they are gone. You may also elect to download a paper registration form and mail it with your check to the address shown on the form.
