The next season for the St. Gregory's Bridge Club begins in September 2009 and runs until June 2010. The Club plays the 2nd Friday evening of the month, excluding February and March to accommodate the “snow birds.” Why not join us? All you need is a knowledge of, and liking for bridge and a partner for a season of fun and socializing. If you are interested or know some couples (men or women) who also may be interested, please call Joe Casuccio at 634-6497, as soon as possible, for more information.
Review of the 2008/2009 Season
The Parish bridge club had a very successful year that concluded on June 11, with a banquet at the Fox Valley Country Club. Sixteen groups participated during the 8 months of play. The top 10 winners were: (1) Joe & Carol Casuccio, (2) Nancy Harkins & Arlene Kulbacki, (3) Joe & Bobbie Huber, (4) Sam Barone & Jean Berkhauser, (5) Joan Smith & Joan Witnauer, (6) Gloria McCarthy & Mel Pazzaglia, (7) Joan Schmitt & Addie Lou Herr, (8) Barbara Ayer & Kokila Chheda, (9) Joe & Joan Saeli, (10) Arlene Gburek & Alice Bender.
