Ministry Description
Knitting our parishioners closer together, particularly those in crisis or need.
Members of the Prayer Shawl Ministry gather weekly to knit or crochet prayer shawls for those facing a crisis, lengthy illness, or difficulty in life. Shawls are also made to celebrate joyful occasions such as the birth of a baby. Along with the blessed shawl the recipients also receive a prayer card. Their response has been heart-warming. If you like to knit or crochet, join us Wednesday mornings, 10 am to 12 noon in the Ministry Center Gym. Contact the Parish Office at 688-5678 to request a prayer shawl to give to someone in need of the comfort of our prayers.
