Disciples Camp
(This replaces 1 year of family faith formation for those who qualify.)
August 2 - 6, 2010 - 35 hours - 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Junior High Summer Program Grades 6-8
Requirements:
- Registered active parishioner at St. Gregory's Parish.
- Family must already be attending mass each week (verified by envelope usage).
- Students cannot miss any part of the 35 hour program or will have to attend the regular traditional program.
- Students who have been a discipline problem in their class this past year will not be considered.
- Students will be required to attend the Advent and Lenten penance services with the regular program.
- Students are required to sign up for 5 hours of Ministry, 5 hours of Service of their choice AND 2 Youth events after completion of camp:

- Reader
- Usher for First Communion
- Jr. High Handbell Choir
- Eucharistic Chapel
- Squires
- Prayer Shawl Ministry
SERVICE
- Catholic Charities Bowling
- Jr. St. Vincent de Paul
- Classroom aide - Preschool thru Grade 4
- Rosary Club
- Jr. Ladies of Charity
- Car Wash for Nicaragua
- Heart to Heart Food Drive
YOUTH EVENTS
- First Friday Club
- Ultimate Nights
- Youth Ministry Service Dates
- Edge Nights
- Students will be tested and will receive a certificate of completion after all requirements have been met.
Just a reminder, we are limiting the number of students per class in our Disciple Camp. We need parents who are willing to help teach, aide and assist at the camp. First considerations will be given to those students who have a parent willing to help in some way.
