As you know, this past school year, we started a new volunteer program at St. Gregory the Great School. The goal of the program is to enable each school family to become more involved in the school and church and help create a stronger, more vibrant Parish community. Each family was asked to complete 40 hours of service ("Ministerial Hours") to the School and/or the Church during the 2009/2010 school year.

We are so happy to report that the inaugural year of this program was a tremendous success! We had such an enthusiastic response to the program that we have determined that each family only needs to complete 30 hours for the upcoming school year. As the saying goes, "Many hands make light work."

Thank you so much for all of your Ministerial Hours during the past year. The School and Parish would never be able to provide all of the wonderful activities and programs they do without your help and support.

Please make your volunteer elections as soon as possible, but in any event no later than July 30.
