The First Communion Retreat is this Saturday, April 27 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in the School for the children only. Please be sure to arrive on time. Children should be brought to the classroom where you will sign them in (when you arrive, check the signs on the classroom doors for your child’s class). Please come to that same classroom to sign them out at dismissal.
The Catholic Store at St. Greg's will be open on Saturday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm during the retreat, so please consider stopping by to shop for First Communion gifts!
The First Communion Rehearsal is Thursday, May 2, 6:00 pm (for 9:30 am Mass) or 7:00 pm (for 11:30 am Mass) in the Church. We ask that one parent stay with their child for the rehearsal.
First Communion is May 4. Please arrive by 15 minutes prior to your Mass time. You will pick up your child’s certificate and rosary in the vestibule, and then be ushered to a pew. Hang the Banner on the end of your pew, with the First Communicant sitting next to the Banner.
May Crowning is Sunday, May 5. First Communicants are invited to attend the 10:00 am Mass for the Parish May Crowning. If you have any questions or to volunteer, please call the FFF Office at (716) 688-5760 between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.

Register for Disciple Camp in May! Disciple Camp, (now for Gr. 5 -10) will be held at St. Greg’s from June 27 through July 3, breaking for the weekend. Disciple Camp is a high impact faith formation summer camp that fulfills the instructional component of the Diocese of Buffalo curriculum. Lessons are enriched with music, prayer, speakers, outdoor activities, crafts, and more. Students will grow together as a peer community of faith and then continue service and faith experiences on their own throughout the year. This program is open only to active parishioners of our family of parishes (Family 19: St. Greg’s, St. Pius X, and Good Shepherd) with regular Mass attendance. Online Registration will be available May 1-30. 2023 Disciple Camp Service Cards are due prior to registration.

Confirmation Dates are set! Bishop Richard Malone will be celebrating Confirmation with us at St. Gregory the Great on Wednesday, May 15 and on Thursday, May 16. Each of our candidates has been assigned to one of those dates. Please see the list sent via Flocknote with assigned dates.
If you'd like to request switching to the other date or cannot make either date, contact Michael Ruszala at mruszala@stgregs.org. If you are not on the list, you may not technically be registered for Confirmation. Click here if you have not yet completed the form online. Please know that no one is turned away because they cannot pay the fee due to financial hardship; please contact Michael Ruszala, and we'll work something out.
The Confirmation Rehearsal for ALL candidates and sponsors will be 6:30 pm Tuesday, May 7 at the church. It will run approximately 2 hours long.
Please remember to share your Confirmation date and the rehearsal date with your sponsor!

Join the Parish Children's Choir! Register for the Parish Children's Choir by Monday, August 21 so you can kick off the year with us at the Collaborative Family Mass on Sunday, August 27, at 9:30 am, during which there will be a special Blessing of Backpacks. Complete the registration form and return it via email to NErdman@stgregs.org or submit the form to the Parish Office. If your singer is not available for the first Mass and rehearsal, please know that children are welcome to register any time during the year for subsequent Parish Children’s Choir Masses. Questions?
