Grades 7 and 8 FFF Parents: If you were not able to pick up your child's Gospel Weeklies on Feb 27, in front of the school between 8:30 am - 11:00 am. Your child will need these workbooks for their lessons.
First Penance Final Reminder: First Penance is this Wednesday, March 3 at 5:30 and 6:45pm. Please arrive at the front door of the Church 15 minutes before your scheduled time, which is listed on your First Penance packet.
You will be ushered to a pew with your child. Due to Covid19 restrictions, your child may be accompanied by up to 4 family members, all from the same household, and face coverings must be worn.
Please leave your First Penance workbook at home, it is yours to keep. We're looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday for this holy Sacrament of First Penance! God bless.
For candidates signed up for January 23 February 6 and March 13 Retreats:
Please note the following CONFIRMATION RETREAT Update:
Confirmation candidates are required to make a retreat as part of their sacramental preparation. Given the pandemic, we have had to consider our course of action to balance the sacramental requirements with health and safety. Our conclusion is that, although not ideal, it would be most prudent to have a retreat that will mostly be done virtually at home.
Going forward, there will be two parts to the Confirmation Retreat (Virstual Retreat and In Person Liturgical Service with Fr. Leon) . Both parts are mandatory, and there will be benchmarks in place to ensure that our candidates are fulfilling this requirement as they prepare for Confirmation. Dear God, Give us the courage and strength today, to carry out your will.
May we keep an open heart and mind, and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
When life presents us with challenges that consume us,
let us know that you are always present with us.
May we feel the comfort of your unconditional love.
Keep us strong and confident in all that we say and do. Amen.
